M/T XT SEA LION set sail

The "XT SEA LION" is the first vessel of its tonnage class in China to be a methanol dual-fuel chemical tanker, a 25,900 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker with a total length of 158.98 meters, a breadth of 27 meters, and a depth of 14.2 meters. The vessel was successfully completed and set sail from Jingjiang Chengxi Shipyard smoothly on the morning of 9th Oct 2025.

This vessel combines the integrated advantages of green and low-carbon design, high-end intelligent systems, and global market adaptability. It is fitted with 2205 duplex stainless steel cargo tanks, meticulously configured into 22 independent compartments, ensuring superior cargo compatibility and operational flexibility to meet diverse chemical transportation requirements. Compared to vessels of similar class, it demonstrates significant improvements in fuel efficiency, cargo capacity, and tank utilization rate.
